Lance is a type of weapon in Monster Hunter: World.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Lance are long striking weapons that allow for decent damage at relative range. While many lances come with shields, the weapon set is often difficult to move with, meaning that expert use of this shield is not just a choice - it's often a requirement. Lances are the only weapon set that can both attack and block simultaneously.
